GLCD’s Community Benefits Initiatives

• Member-Owned Business Fund – Members contribute a small percentage of revenue into a fund that offers micro-loans and business grants to help Black entrepreneurs grow.

• Group Purchasing Power – Members can bulk buy supplies or services at a discount, lowering costs for businesses and strengthening collective bargaining power.

• Crowdfunding for High-Growth Ventures – GLCD can create investment circles where members invest collectively in promising Black-owned businesses.

Legal Defense Fund Through GLCD Membership Fees & Events

• Dedicated Legal Fund Contribution – A portion of GLCD membership fees and event profits can be allocated toward a Black Legal Defense Fund, ensuring we have financial resources for legal protection and advocacy.

• Fundraising Events & Sponsorships – Hosting galas, concerts, and community events where proceeds go directly into the defense fund.

• Subscription-Based Legal Support – Partnering with Black lawyers and  associations to offer discounted legal services to members through a legal protection plan for small businesses and personal matters.
